Harcourt's own Charles Simic has been named the new U.S. Poet Laureate!  Simic's books include My Noiseless Entourage, The Voice at 3:00 A.M., and the forthcoming collections, That Little Something and Sixty Poems (Spring 2008). Simic is also the recipient of the Wallace Stevens Award, an annual award given by the Academy of American Poets!
